Course aim

To provide delegates with the knowledge and practical experience to enable them to evacuate from a raised cab of mechanical handling equipment.

Course content

• Introduction to the S-Cape system and its applications
• Maintenance and servicing procedures
• Demonstrations of use by instructor
• Evacuation procedures
• Practical low level descents
• Practical high level descents
Assessment: Throughout the course, the student will be continually assessed and expected to complete a written and practical assessment.

Aimed at

This course is aimed at all drivers of man riding mechanical handling equipment. The training will take place on site on a man-up forklift truck. Only on successful completion of the whole course and examination will the candidate be issued with a Certificate of Competence, and ID card.
