No Shock Rescue

Course Aim

This course will provide delegates with the knowledge and practical experience to enable them to rescue a fellow climber, suspended by a fall arrest lanyard, from a tower, mast or fixed ladder.

• Anchor point selection
• Self-rescue
• Rescue off an access way
• Casualty care
• Suspension Trauma

The course will involve elements of classroom and practical tuition. Emphasis will, at all times, be on practical rescues under the safe supervision of an instructor.

Aimed At

Experienced climbers, familiar with fall arrest techniques.

Pre-requisite

Delegates must hold an in date Working at Height certificate to attend the course
