The CROLL chest ascender is unmatched for efficiency on fixed lines. Compact and lightweight, it does not interfere with progression. The stainless steel wear plate improves durability by reinforcing the rope friction zone. Used with a Basic/Ascension handled ascender for rope ascents.
– Toothed cam with self-cleaning slot optimizes performance under any conditions
– Rope channel is reinforced with stainless steel for greater durability
– Lower hole is angled to keep the device flat
– Upper hole for attaching a Petzl SECUR
For EN567:1997 compliance use either EN892 Dynamic Ropes, or EN1891:1998 Low Stretch Ropes between 8 & 11mm dia. For EN12841:2006 Type B compliance, use either EN892 Dynamic Ropes, or EN1891:1998 Class A Low Stretch Ropes between 10 & 11mm dia. See manufacturer’s instructions.
